Haiti Missions Team Update

As a person interested in being a part of the September (8-18) team to Haiti, I wanted to provide you with additional information along with a reminder of our meeting this Sunday.

I am praying that the Lord will bring together the right group of people to extend His love to some of those who suffered great loss during the earthquake. I know that a trip like this is a great sacrifice so be sure to pray about this and expect challenges to come along as you move forward. This is typical in preparing for any mission team. Please bring your completed applications to this meeting if possible.

FYI: Not everyone will be doing construction on this team. We will need some people who can specialize in working with the children at the orphanage.

The meeting is this Sunday, June 27th after the 11:00 a.m. service, in the Family Room. (12:25 p.m.) Bring a sack lunch if you need it!

Cost: $850 per person + airfare, which will be approximately $1,800.00 (this includes all expenses and some construction funds).

Goal: Our goal is to rebuild an orphanage that was destroyed in earthquake. The cost to rebuild will be $40,000.00 - $50,000.00. We will try to raise as much of that amount as we can before we go, though this will not affect your cost to go.

Please bring you application and your $200.00 deposit, if you can. It is due on July 1st.
