I don't generally like to blog about upcoming events, but the next three weeks are going to be great at Eureka Faith Center.
August 14-15: The message will be on 1 Corinthians 13. Heidi will be speaking and I will be at our Trinity Campus in Willow Creek. The sermon will feature a fun and creative skit. Love is the most important thing we could talk about, right?
August 21-22: Bobby & Joanne Bainbridge, Foursquare misssionaries in Baja, Mexico, will be with us. Although they are not preaching, they will be introduced and will share a bit. Plus, Bobby will speak at our Spanish service at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. I will be preaching on the resurrection (1 Cor. 15) -- and will be introducing the message from a grave yard.
August 28-29: The Gathering on Saturday afternoon/evening. 4 p.m. picnic. 6:30 p.m. outdoor service. A big party at Cooper Gulch. BBQ'd "Hot Dogs for Haiti" and much more.
Jerry Cook (http://www.jerrycook.org/) and his wife will be interviewed during the outdoor service on Saturday night and Jerry will be preaching at Faith Center on Sunday. If you can come to "church" twice this weekend, you will NOT regret it.
