Touring Israel

With less than 10 minutes of time, I am attempting a quick update.

Yesterday was our first day of touring and we had a full and amazing day.  We are now in Tiberias and will spend today around the Sea of Galilee. 

There is no free wi fi here so photo updates are not possible and internet communication will be minimal.

Everyone is having a good time, although a couple people were a little sick yesterday.  Pray for good health today.

Yesterday we were on the coast and visited Caesarea and Acre.  I was able to share a devotional at Mt. Carmel where Elijah had his showdown with the prophets of Baal.

A large percentage of our group will be baptized in the Jordan River today.  For many of them, this will be the first time they have been baptized since becoming a Christian.

Pray that we will be able to fit in a visit to Masada.  It is not on our schedule and our schedule is packed.  A few people really want to visit there and I hope to find a way to make it happen.

We are really just getting started here.  Thank you for thinking of us and praying for us. Heidi and I are praying for the church and missing our friends at home but we also are having a GREAT time.
