Scrambling up Vesper Peak

Today (9/11/06) I decided to do a quick scramble in the morning. The Vesper Peak trail is located at the end of Sunshine Mine road near Barlow Pass (Mountain Look Highway). It is a 6200 ft peak and climbs just over 4000 ft in about four miles. This rugged trail is a nice challenge with great views. It was a tough workout but also provided some great opportunities for taking some pictures.

Sperry Peak is the closest one and can be climbed easily. The distant peak with snow is Glacier Peak.
