Eastside Team Arrives, I go home...

I spent the last day in Manila with the Bags of Joy Team. They came off the plane looking a bit tired after the 20 hours of travel they had just endured.
We loaded up three vans and made our way to the "Missions House", where the team settled into their accomodations. There are 21 people on the team, which is being led by Marcie (and Brandon) Brazee. It was Thursday when they arrived and the Bags of Joy distribution would begin on Friday.
I enjoyed having dinner with the team and being a part of their orientation.
Friday morning I left for the airport and made my long trip home.
I spent eight hours in the Taipei, Taiwan. Rather than sitting in the airport I took a bus downtown and took the world's fastest elevator to the top of the world's tallest building (Taipei 101). Although the distinction of being the tallest building in the world depends on many variables (inhabited floors, heighth of spire, etc.), Taipei 101 is always mentioned during the "tallest buidling" discussion.
The flight home went by fairly quickly. It is great being home with Heidi and the kids. I'm looking forward to hitting the ground running with our services tonight.
